Live with PASSION

  A couple thoughts…  Sue and I had a rest yesterday. We are more better today, able to walk without too much discomfort and we are  anxious to be back on the trail. But secondly…. because we didn’t hike yesterday, I didn’t really have any examples of  FnF . (Flora and fauna, people!) I mentioned I would include some at the start of each post, so… here we go!                         *   There are MANY Hydrangae bushes on the Island—true “show-stoppers”!   Today I was a little sad…. My left knee was not well; every step was painful in addition to sore toes— but I have 10 toes and only 2 knees! I could decommission a couple toes; I CANNOT afford to have a knee give up….  so I did not hike today to let it rest 😔, but it was because I have a wise friend, Sue. . . . Sue  decided she needed a rest day first (!) and my stubborn self knew she was right. We took a bus to our next seaside stop—Waterville. . .     a very good plan.
